on picking up, housing and euthanizing
animals. That's just one county in North
Carolina. Educating our community is the
only option - starting with baby steps
- everyone working together, perhaps we
can make Guilford County a more humane,
efficient and healthy community for our
people and animals.
RABIES: approximately 30% of the animal population have been vaccinated against this deadly disease; that leaves 70% that have not been vaccined!
Independant rescue groups like NC Rescue League help take the financial burden away from the state or government, and give in a lot of cases are able to give animals more of a chance because of their smaller size and the ability to provide more individual attention.
